Smart-Telecom Subscribers Will Flooding to Malaysia

JAKARTA -Smart-telecom present new sms promotion program to Malaysia. Only for  Rp 5,000 per Sunday than user can send short messages to Malaysia for all days.

"Firstaval, we were trying to target  for Indonesia labor, but we have seen that the subscribers not only from migrant workers," said the head of Vas and Smart telecom business development, Tom Alamas Dinharsa on launching a program 'sms sepuasnya' Promos at Planet Hollywood, Gatot Subroto St, Jakarta, thursday (1/15/2009).

Tom claims that this is a first service in Indonesia, where as the operator provides international sms service for all days with a bundle price. Customers need to make registration by pressing * 767 * 7 and the press call /yes then the customer can overwhelm their colleagues or their family in Malaysia with the sms.

These services can be used to Celcom, Digi, and Maxis customers in Malaysia. This program will be valid until 30 June 2009, and will continue to be expanded to Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries

"We can not say it. But clearly, the most traffic are Malaysia and Singapore and the second," said Tom.

In addition, Tom predict that in the third quarter 2009, Indonesia will flooded by many of CDMA handsets. At currently, it looks hard to find CDMA handsets at the market better than the GSM handsets.

"At the second Quarter,probably there are many companies will develop a cdma's chip, 450, 800, 1900 and soon at the third quarter it would have been flooding the market," said Tom

Smart subscribers has reached 1.5 million in the year 2008, but reluctant to mention the target in 2009.
